The corporate structure

My Unclaimed Estate is a brand, not a separate company. It is a service of Wolfe Recovery Group LLC. MUCE LLC operates three customer-facing brands: DeedAdvisor, Stop My Auction Now, and My Unclaimed Estate. We say this plainly because a company whose name does not match its paperwork is the first thing people check, and we would rather you found it here than wondered.

What we work on

Florida property where the recorded owner has died and the estate was never settled. Almost always residential. Usually with something wrong: unpaid taxes, an association lien, a house standing empty, several heirs who have never spoken, or a title nobody has looked at since the nineteen-nineties.

How we make money

We acquire an interest in the property and we are paid out of that. We are not a charity and we are not doing this for free — we are doing it at no cost to you, which is a different thing and we would rather be precise about it. The terms are written into the agreement in figures before you sign.

What we are not

Not a law firm. Not a government office, a court, or the clerk. Not affiliated with Florida's unclaimed property programme. Nothing we tell you is legal advice and you are entitled to your own attorney at every stage.

The uncomfortable part

We contact people who did not ask to hear from us, about a relative who died, and we are frequently wrong about whether they have any interest at all. We know how that lands. It is why the letter is signed by a person, why a person answers the phone, and why telling us to go away works the first time you say it.
